Sewerby Cricket – Cricket Competition
On Tuesday, 10 children travelled to Sewerby Cricket Club to take part in a cricket competition.
The games were 8 a side. The children batted in pairs for 2 overs and each player had to bowl one over.
This is the first cricket game that Burlington have played since 2019. Burlington started slowly by losing to Martongate and New Pasture.
Burlington then learnt quickly and showed a dramatic improvement. Going on to beat Bempton, Wold Newton and Bay.
It was great to be back on the cricket field and competing against other schools once again.
