Reading in Strange Places Competition
At Burlington Junior School, we have taken part in a fun and exciting reading competition. Our first competition was READING IN STRANGE PLACES. It was wonderful to see all your “extreme reading”, in strange places, in silly costumes and there were many wacky ideas! It was great to see all the school children but next time hopefully we will see the adults as well! The winning child will be able to choose a book of their choice which will be purchased by the school.
We are pleased to announce the winner of this competition is Max. Both judges liked the effort that had gone into creating a special reading area half way up the stairs. Well done Max looks really cosy.
