Pneumatic Monsters – Year 3
Last week the pupils were busy with DT (Design and Technology) and the topic this term is Pneumatic monsters. The children learn lots of skills from DT, firstly they had to decide what sort of Stone Age monster they wanted to make and design it. Next they have to be able to follow their set of written instructions, whilst they actually make their pneumatic monster, however it doesn’t end there. The children will have to evaluate how successful their monster has been in design and production by seeing if their pneumatic system makes their monster’s mouth open and close. Is there a way they could have improved it? I think the results speak for themselves!
