Year 4 pupils had a trip to Murton Park recently as part of their curriculum topic Romans.  They enjoyed spending the day as a Roman soldier, going through rigorous training to give them the confidence to use their weapons. They successfully defended their homes from invaders, putting their new found skills and tactics to good use.  They learnt how to create clay thumb pots and received their pay at the end of the day.
