Mental Health Awareness Assembly
Our assembly this week has focused on Mental Health Awareness Week and what we can all do to look after ourselves. This year the theme is Nature and for us at Burlington Junior School it has been an ideal time for the children to explore all that our garden area has to offer. The children visited the pond and the nature trail, helped the wildlife by making habitats and feeders. They played games, wrote poems, did some maths, and created artwork all using natural materials. They used their senses to recognise the signs of spring and paused to marvel at the natural world.
