On the 20th and 27th September, Year 6 pupils travelled down to London for their ‘Kip on a Ship’ experience. The children had an overnight stay on the HMS Belfast and were amazed by the incredible Lion King performance at the Lyceum Theatre.
The children learnt a lot about London and its history and waved to people on the bridges above (a tradition, that would bring them good luck). They also visited the Horse Guards before going to the Houses of Parliament, where they had a tour of the building (including where Henry VIII used to live).
It was an amazing experience and we visited places few people get to visit, creating, we hope, inspiring memories for a lifetime.
