Yesterday Burlington Junior hosted a Halloween disco for all the pupils.   Year 3 and 4 pupils were together and were followed by Year 5 and 6 pupils.  Burlington was dressed up to look spooky as were a lot of the staff, who enjoyed joining in with some great costumes.  However we couldn’t compete with the effort the children put in to ensure they were looking scary, freaky, spooky or just plain poorly.  There seemed to be a lot of children with severe blood loss and one child was even missing their head –  a wet paper towel soon sorted that out and eased their discomfort.

Along with a DJ and light show there were party games  and competitions for the children to enjoy with prizes for best dancer and best fancy dress amongst others.  After all their dancing the children enjoyed hot-dogs, drinks and snacks.  A great time was had by all.
