Go Ape!
Over the course of the week each year group at Burlington had the exciting opportunity to go on a school trip to Go Ape. After what has been such a strange year for the children and having missed out on so much, we thought it would be nice to use the Sports Premium to allow children to have a fun filled day out.
The children got to take part in the Tree Top adventure which was an hours’ worth of adventurous fun as the children made their way through the trees negotiating crossings and completing obstacles.
They also got to participate in a variety of ground-based team games designed to develop key life skills such as communication, leadership and of course, teamwork. Feedback from both the children and staff has been very popular and this trip has been rated one of the best Burlington have been on!
