Farmer Time with Farmer Colin
Farmer Colin has sent us an insight of what is happening at the moment on his farm. Farming is a very busy job, there is always something that has to be done, especially when you have animals. They need feeding and looking after every single day of the year. In the film below you can see them milking the cows, cutting the grass, collecting it and drying it out. They use the poo from the cows to spread on the crops as fertilizer (silage) this makes the soil healthy as it is full of nutrients and helps the crops grow better. Thank you to Farmer Colin for taking the time to make this film.
