Bread Making – Year 5
Year 5 have been loving their recent DT unit, refining their knowledge of the process of design. We have researched different types of bread and thought about how to use this knowledge to create our own. We practised shaping so we could create something appealing and carefully constructed.
It was amazing to create our final design and test out our recipes. We are so delighted with the results. Many of us decided in evaluation that our bread had turned out better than we could have imagined.
We think year 5 certainly have the knowledge, skills and understanding to be the bread makers of the future.
