Bread Making – Year 5

Today the pupils have been busy doing DT (Design and Technology) and the topic this term is bread making.  The children learn lots of skills from DT, firstly they had to decide what sort of bread they wanted to make and design it.  Next they have to be able to follow instructions on the recipe.  They have to put all this into practice and actually make their bread, however it doesn’t end there.  The children will have to evaluate how successful their bread has been in design and productionby tasting their creations.  Is there a way they could have improved it?  I think the results speak for themselves!
