Boccia Event
On Tuesday 30th January, a group of year 3/4 children participated in the Inter-School Boccia competition. Boccia is a precision ball sport, similar to bowls and pétanque. For some children this was their first time participating in this sport. However, this did not phase team Burlington and they worked so hard as a team to compete against a variety of other Bridlington school teams. This event was a participation event to get the children engaged therefore, no positions were given overall. Well done to Mason , Maisy, Esme and Jethro. A special well done to Maisy who won a medal for great teamwork and sportsmanship.
