This half-term, Year Four have been looking at Food & Nutrition within their Design Technology lessons. We undertook a series of activities before creating our Ancient Egyptian feast, which included: food tasting as market research, using laptops to uncover common foods eaten in Ancient Egypt, and researching an Ancient Egyptian honey-cakes recipe.
It was brilliant to see our Year Four pupils developing their understanding of baking and food preparation, in which children prepared foods such as spring onions, cucumber, mango, pomegranate and ham for eating.
