Ambassadors of Bridlington
This half-term, Year 3 pupils have taken part in the ‘Ambassadors of Bridlington’ event, in order to learn more about their local area and its history. Pupils started the day by conducting their own research in small groups, asking members of the public what they liked about Bridlington and why. Pupils then gathered their research together to present it to each other.
Afterwards, pupils were able to research famous local people, their contributions to the community and then looked for evidence of these people around Bridlington.
The children behaved well and a good time was had by all – a big thank you to the Hull Children’s University staff who organised and delivered this experience.
