Science Ambassadors

Last week pupils at Burlington Junior school spent the day at Hilderthorpe Primary School for a day filled with Science. The pupils had the chance to try lots of different experiments with the aim of becoming science ambassadors and showing other pupils how exciting science can be.

The children tried lots of different experiments including learning about surface tension, static electricity, chemical reactions, air pressure, wave patterns, self-supporting structures and many more. They are now going to spread this knowledge to the other pupils at Burlington by demonstrating some of the experiments to classes, groups and maybe an assembly.
