Roman Feast

As part of their topic this term, children in Year 4 have enjoyed a day as Romans. The children had the opportunity to dress like Romans and their first activity was to create their own laurel wreath headbands.

The pupils enjoyed some food outside on the playground, including grapes, honey, bread, raisins. This was followed by some entertainment, which included singing and dancing and finally culminated with a feat of strength, in the form of a tug-of-war on the field between the different houses.
