On 7th June  pupils at Burlington Junior School had an RE day.  It is important that the children learn about faiths  and religions around the world and have an understanding of how their beliefs, may differ from others, but also the similarities they can share.

Year 3 were designing stained glass windows, with their focus being Christianity, whilst Year 4  were looking at Islamic Art.  Year 5  spent some time researching the Buddhist Eightfold Path which consists of eight practices: right view, right resolve, right speech, right conduct, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right samadh.
Year 6 however, were thinking about ultimate questions and the Bigger Picture and using their creative talents to portray these questions.
