Today the children have been performing their poem, chosen by their class teacher in our annual competition. All the poems this year have a festive theme and the children have all been practising very hard. Some of the classes had actions, there was also facepaints, dressing up and even props.
The children all did extremely well and it was a very hard decision for the judges – Mrs Moss and Mrs Beckett, however there has to be a winner and it went to Class 2 (Mr Norman’s class) ‘Once there was a Snowman’. Well done to all the children, they worked very hard and gave some lovely performances. Mr Norman’s class received an early breaktime and will also be having ice cream.
You can see more from the morning’s poems in the film below and also see Class 2’s winning poem beneath that.
