Burlington Junior school are hosting some visitors from the NSPCC this week. They have been speaking to the children in their year groups and giving them lots of information about how to keep safe and who can help them if they have worries or concerns. As Educators we take your child’s safety very seriously and have lots of training, people and resources available to help us accomplish that. We have information on our website of organisations for both parents and children should they need it. We have also been left 2 resources by the NSPCC ‘A parents’guide to being Share Aware’ and ‘Your child’s online world’. Copies of both of these booklets are available from reception and they are an excellent way to start a conversation with your child and help them understand whilst online, what is acceptable and what isn’t. Children can quickly get out of their depth when confronted with trolls and the darker side of the online world. We need to ensure we give them the skills to be able to cope. Should you ever need advice or to speak to anyone about an issue or concern you have, the school number is 01262 674487
