This week the children in Year 3 have visited Murton Park near York as part of their topic work to experience life as a Stone Age human. During each visit, pupils were able to dress and live like a person from that time. The pupils had to take on, the everyday tasks and chores that were needed to survive in the Stone Age through to the Iron Age. Hunting trips were organised to make sure the clans did not go hungry, whilst domestic chores were completed in the roundhouse! The pupils showed impeccable behaviour throughout the day and were a credit to Burlington Junior School. Well done, Year 3!
