On Tuesday lots of children from year 3 to year 6 went to headlands school to compete in the annual inter school cross country competition. Unfortunately, the weather was against them however this did not seem to phase them! The year 3 and 4 children had to run 1000 m whereas the year 5 and 6 children had to run slightly further with a distance of 1400 m. For some children this was their first ever event representing the school, yet each and everyone of them was amazing and completed the race, showing fantastic resilience. We are waiting to hear the results to see if anyone has qualified for the next level! Well done to all the children who competed and to the fantastic support from parents.
