On Wednesday our children competed in the annual inter-house cross country! Luckily, the weather was slightly warmer and the sun shining for the event! Each Year competed in a separate girls and boys race. Years 3 and 4 ran 3 laps of the field whilst Years 5 and 6 ran 4! The atmosphere through the day was fantastic and the children showed great enthusiasm and also support for their classmates. Congratulations to the winners of each race:

Year 3: Josh Stabler and Scarlett Duke
Year 4: Harry Dearing and Tiana Whaite
Year 5: Kolbin Thorpe and Alexis Hellewell
Year 6: Stanley Hewitt and Abigail Dean.

All these children will be rewarded with a winners T-shirt for their superb efforts. However, the big moment everyone has been waiting for is which house won overall! All the results from each year group were collated together and the lowest score wins.

4th: Simmonds 1553
3rd: Murray 1352
2nd: Farah 1324
1st: Ennis 1173

Congratulations to Ennis house who have managed to hold onto their title for another year! All the children who represented this house will be placed in a hat with a chance of winning a pair of hull city tickets!

A big well done to all the children and Miss Bemrose who participated and made the event a success.
