Last term, Year 4 visited the Hands on History Museum in Hull. On arrival, the children were amazed by the wide range of Egyptian artefacts on display, even having the chance to view a genuine mummy, which the children found mesmerising. The children then experienced a range of Egyptian activities observing how a person is mummified, creating papyrus, making archaeological discoveries and decoding the mystery of hieroglyphics. The children were really well behaved and a great time was had by all.
