On Monday, year 4 hosted their parents for Stay and Read. Exploring alliterative adjectives, the pupils were tasked to try and come up with an alliterative adjective for each letter of the alphabet and not only that, it had to be relevant to their topic on Egypt. Tricky!
Then on Wednesday it was the turn of Year 5 who had to draw a building using only the text they were given. This is a tricky task also as your mind can tell you that you’ve read something and you haven’t. This helps the children focus on what they are reading and comprehend the subtext of sentences.
