This morning was Stay and Read for our Year 3 pupils. This gives parents the opportunity to come in to school and spend time in a lesson with their children. With the Year 3 pupils this can be especially important as it can put parents’ minds at ease, that their children are settled and happy. This morning’s lesson was to find out how much knowledge about the book ‘The Wreck of the Zanzibar’ the children already had before starting to read it.
